Chris DeRubeis is known as "The Father of Conceptual Movement." He was born in 1978 in Santa Clarita, CA. His paintings bring the world of celestial abstraction which captures color-soaked light with his soft lines that he weaves together in forms of metal sculpture and paint set ablaze with his own proprietary blend and fire.
Each piece of work is a unique original where he uses structures and waves of light to build weightless, diaphanous forms. Colors flow seamlessly from one hue to the next, while the transparency of his layers of paint creates the illusion of incredible depth. DeRubeis won the prestige's ARTV Award in the summer of 2006 where he received the "New Movement" award for his abstract sensualism.
